
Kathy Wilson, Founder
Kathy is a former collegiate and professional basketball player and coach, who has parlayed her effective teaching and motivational skills from the court to the classroom. For the past eight years Kathy has coached and trained in government agencies, financial institutions, universities, and a variety of corporations such as the SEC, Morgan Stanley, ASAE & The Center for Association Leadership, and Vanderbilt University, among others, administering programs in the areas of leadership, communication, team-building, conflict management, and customer service.
Kathy leads high-energy and highly engaging programs that utilize experiential learning methods, coaching, facilitation, role play, and group discussion as ways to increase knowledge and retention of the information and create a fun learning environment. Kathy's basketball playing and coaching backgrounds compels her to challenge her participants to reach their highest potential.
Kathy received her B.A. Communications from the University of North Carolina @ Chapel Hill, and her Graduate Certificate in Leadership Coaching and M.A. in Organizational Management from The George Washington University. She is a member of Success in the City, Yes!Circle, National Association of Black Sports Professionals, and she is Membership Co-Chair of the Greater DC Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO). Kathy also volunteers with the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).
